About Castello di Nipozzano
A millennium-old castle overlooking the Arno river valley in Chianti Rufina. Castello di Nipozzano began planting Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot in 1855, expanding beyond the Sangiovese that remains central to the program. The portfolio includes Mormoreto, Montesodi, Nipozzano Riserva, Nipozzano Vecchie Viti, and Nipozzano Grappa. Ancient underground cellars host tastings by reservation. Vineyard tours are available. The estate offers outdoor seating, food, and four exclusive rooms for overnight guests.
