About Castel Faglia
Castel Faglia takes its name from Colonel Umberto Faglia, who once owned the castle overlooking these vineyards. Founded in 1989 in Calino, in the Lombardia region, the winery sits at 300 meters elevation. Hand-harvested grapes and soft pressing define the cellar work to preserve the finest must for Franciacorta production. The portfolio spans Franciacorta, Franciacorta Satén, Franciacorta Rosé, and Franciacorta Millesimato, alongside the Monogram line. The Monogram Rosé Millesimato 2016 was selected as Best Italian Wine by 5StarWines. The Monogram Satén Millesimato earned gold from World's Best Sparkling Wine. Vineyard walks and winery tours, followed by tastings, invite visitors into the work.
