About

Camino Real works the Rio Grande Valley in Los Lunas, in the oldest wine growing region of the United States. Jon and Dolores Chavez are owners and vintners, alongside winemakers Santos Griego and Jonathan Chavez. The partnership extends to Henry Jaramillo, who has grown grapes for 26 years. The portfolio spans 12 different varietals, produced at up to 200 gallons annually. The tasting room opens Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Sundays noon to 5 p.m., and by appointment Monday and Tuesday.
