Burnet Ridge was founded in 1993 in Cincinnati. Chip Emmerich, who spent six years in Santa Cruz before settling in Ohio in 1979, is the winemaker. The portfolio includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Syrah, Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Vidal Blanc. The 2023 Purple Trillium, a Pauillac-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, took Best of Show Red Wine and Double Gold at the 2022 Ohio Wine Competition, then Silver at the Cincinnati International Wine Festival. The 2020 Cabernet Franc earned Silver at the Ohio competition. The 2023 Tuscan Style Sangiovese won Bronze at Cincinnati International. Visits by reservation.
