About Bolnisi Old Marani

Bolnisi Old Marani (listed on Georgia's official tourism site as "Bolnisi Old Cellar") is a winery in Bolnisi, Kvemo Kartli region, founded in 2017 by winemaker Grigol Kurashvili, who was taught winemaking from childhood by his father Murad. The Kurashvili family originates from the village of Okureshi in Lechkhumi, home of the Usakhelouri grape, and the Bolnisi estate is planted to Rkatsiteli, Asuretuli Shala, Tavkveri, and Saperavi. The cellar offers wine tastings, grape-pressing tours, traditional Georgian food, wine sales, and accommodation for visitors.
