Bodegas Gonzalez-Puras has been making wine in San Asensio since 1950. The house works primarily with Tempranillo and Viura, building a portfolio across styles. The Tinto Joven emerges from carbonic maceration, all Tempranillo. The Crianza is pure Tempranillo as well. The Reserva spends a year in French and American oak, then another in bottle. For white, there is Blanco Joven, 100% Viura, and Clarete, a blend of 70% Viura and 30% Tempranillo. A tasting room is available.
