Bayer Franz sits in Königsbrunn am Wagram, where five generations of the family have led the program since 1920. Franz Bayer jun. now oversees 26 hectares across the region, working Grüner Veltliner and Blauer Zweigelt into a portfolio that spans the Red-Star-Kollektion, its labels a collaboration with artist Mario Jakob Stroitz, through to Yellow Vision and the Leopold-Figl-Edition, created to honor an uncle's centenary. The Blauer Zweigelt Bromberg 2023 and Da Franzl 2025 anchor the current release. A Vinothek holds vintage wines stretching back more than 50 years. The house took second place in the Grüner Veltliner Leicht category at WAGRAM Trophy 2024.
