About Aquila's Nest Vineyards, LLC
Aquila's Nest Vineyards began in Sandy Hook in 2019, with first harvest that same year across 12 acres. The program spans Syrah, Malbec, Merlot, Baco Noir, Sangiovese, Valdiguié, Riesling, Cayuga, Traminette, and Moscato. The portfolio includes Queen of Illyria Red Blend, a Syrah and Malbec blend, alongside Princess of Troy Merlot, Amazons Baco Noir, Sibyl Dry Rosé, Libera Sparkling Semi Sweet Rosé, Zana e Malit Dry Riesling, Callisto Dry Cayuga, Gaea Estate White Wine made from estate-grown Cayuga, Traminette, Moscato and Riesling, and Siren Sweet Moscato. Nine wines rotate seasonally. The winery was named National Small Producer of the Year 2025 at the National Small Producer Wine Invitational by Libation Awards.
