Altamont Vineyard and Winery

About

Louis DiCrescenzo arrived in Troy at twenty-two from Latina, Italy, built a life in construction, then in 2006 purchased twenty-six acres that had sat dormant since 1999. The vineyard, originally planted by Larry Grossi, overlooks the Helderberg Escarpment. DiCrescenzo and his son Michael, a fourth-generation winemaker, began exploring what the inherited vines could become.
