This Central Otago vineyard has been growing grapes for 130 years, starting way back in the 1860s when someone figured out that scorching days and chilly nights would make something special. The label features that iconic schist rock you might recognize from Lord of the Rings, a nod to the region's dramatic landscape and gold rush history.
