About Weingut & Gästehaus Benedikt Nilles
Benedikt Nilles has worked these Mosel slopes since 1624, fifteen generations of family stewardship on terrain that climbs to 70 percent gradient. Red slate soil characterizes the vineyards. The program centers on Riesling Trocken, with the 2023 unter den Felsen earning vinum Gold and the 2024 am rothen Pfad taking Silver. The house holds a two-star Gutes Weingut rating in Eichelmann 2026 and a track record across Eichelmann, VINUM, and Gault & Millau. The work extends to sustainable viticulture and nature conservation. Visitors can taste, tour, hike the steep slopes, and stay in guest accommodations.
