About Weingut Clemens Busch
Clemens Busch, Rita Busch, and Johannes Busch tend 20 hectares on the Moselle, nearly all Riesling with a sliver of Spätburgunder. The house began in 1974 with a barrel cellar built into traditional stone vault. A 17th-century manor house on the riverbank overlooks the Marienburg vineyard and serves as the tasting room. The program shifted to organic viticulture in 1984, then biodynamic certification in 2015. In the cellar, no commercial yeast, enzymes, fining agents, or clarification intervene. A pressing hall and extended barrel cellar were added in 2024. The portfolio includes Riesling and Spätburgunder, among them a Blanc de Noir.
