Weingut Emil Franz operates from the historic cellar vaults of Traben-Trarbach, founded over one hundred years ago. Since 2022, Chandrima and Kai Christiansen have owned and operated the winery. Chandrima brings a background in mathematics and natural sciences. Kai is a trained sommelier. The portfolio spans dry, semi-dry, and sweet white wines alongside reds and sparkling wines. The house also produces alcohol-free wines, schnapps, and liqueur.
