About
Weingut Ulrich Langguth in Traben-Trarbach organizes its work around steep-slope viticulture in the Mosel. The program uses a three-tier classification system based on incline. Basic wines come from 12-degree slopes. Premium selections, fermented spontaneously in the cellar, are produced from ERSTE LAGE® or GROSSE LAGE® designations at 36 degrees. Top expressions come from 50-degree slopes. Riesling anchors the portfolio. Madeleine, a rare varietal with low acidity, rounds it out. A tasting room is available for visitors.
