About
Weingut Knab works Burgundy varieties across four distinct vineyard sites around Endingen am Kaiserstuhl, each with its own geology and elevation. The Endinger Engelsberg sits on limestone-rich loess and weathered volcanic rock. The Amolterer Steinhalde rises to roughly 330 meters on volcanic soils. The Endinger Schönenberg, planted over 50 years ago, climbs above 300 meters. The Endinger Eckkinzig holds Chardonnay vines planted more than 40 years ago. Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, and Chardonnay form the portfolio. The winery practices sustainable, holistic viticulture. The tasting room welcomes visitors at €18.50 per person, with vineyard tours available. A Wine & Terroir Experience tour departs in a vintage Unimog for €185, with food offered.
