Carolin and Jürgen Hofmann married in 2006 and merged their two family wineries into one. Carolin represents the fifth generation of women leading the Willems lineage. From Appenheim, they operate vineyards across the Saar and Rheinhessen regions, farming organically and certified through ECOVIN. The program focuses on Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. The Willems Riesling Auf der Lauer feinherb and Hofmann Appenheimer Riesling Vom Muschelkalk trocken both appeared in Weinwirtschaft's TOP50 der Weine des Jahres in 2020. A Vinothek in Appenheim offers tastings.
