About Weingut Hofmann
Weingut Hofmann began in 2006 when Carolin and Jürgen Hofmann married, joining their separate family winegrowing estates. The couple established modern facilities in Appenheim, Rheinhessen, including winery, cellar, and tasting room. Their program centers on Riesling, Weißer Burgunder, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. The 2018 vintage brought recognition across the portfolio. Hundertgulden Riesling earned 94 points from James Suckling, Oelberg Riesling 93, Goldberg Riesling 92, and Eselspfad Weißer Burgunder 91. Willems-Willems Riesling Auf der Lauer and Appenheimer Riesling Vom Muschelkalk both landed in Weinwirtschaft's Top 50 Wine of the Year. Carolin leads Weingut Willems-Willems, which has been led by women for five generations.
