About Weingut Mario Zelt
Mario Zelt works in Laumersheim, in the Pfalz, where the program moves across three tiers. Gutswein brings fresh and fruity entry-level wines. Ortswein draws from the vineyards around Laumersheim itself. Lagenwein represents the premium single-vineyard work. The cellar operates CO2-balanced since 2021 through a partnership with Save-Climate, certified sustainable by FAIR'N GREEN, and uses no insecticides, herbicides, or synthetic nitrogen fertilizer. All wines are vegan. The house won four Gold medals at Deutscher Rotweinpreis 2025. Visitors can tour the vineyards and taste in the tasting room. Zelt is a member of Vinophilanthropen.
