About Weinhaus Michel
Weinhaus Michel has anchored the Mainzer Altstadt for over 40 years, though the house itself dates to 1756. Silvaner, Riesling, Weißer Burgunder, and Merlot form the portfolio, with notable releases including Scharmbolze, Amorettsche, Herzens Brescher, Teschdel Meschdel, Königschin der Nacht, Herzbluud, Altstadtadel, Owwer Maschores, Meenzer Hotvollée, and Meenzer Mädsche. The tasting room opens Tuesday through Saturday from 16.00 to 23.00, with outdoor seating and a climatized vaulted cellar for events. Reservations are required. Seasonal, regional food accompanies the wines. Groups of 12 or more are welcome.
