About Sektkellerei Goldhand
Sektkellerei Goldhand has occupied the same historic barrel vaults in Mainz since 1857, when it began as a wine cellar. In 1957, the house converted to sparkling wine production, becoming the only sekt cellar in the city. Walter Könitz, Robert Könitz, and Antonio Ferraiuolo lead the winemaking today. The portfolio includes Geiling-Sekt and Gold-Cuvée, fermented in small tanks of 1500 liters. The cellar also provides contract sparkling wine production and carbonation services. Visitors can tour the vaults and taste.
