About Weingut Frank Kühn
Weingut Frank Kühn operates across 12 hectares in Rheinhessen, with vineyard sites in Dienheim, Oppenheim, Nierstein, and Dexheim. Founded in 1974, the estate came under Frank Kühn's sole direction in 2019. The program tilts toward white varieties, roughly 70 percent of production, spanning Riesling, Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Kerner, Grauer Burgunder, Huxelrebe, Scheurebe, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Gelber Muskateller alongside reds including Dornfelder, Portugieser, Spätburgunder, Cabernet Dorsa, and Saint Laurent. A renovated cellar built in 2007 houses the barrique program, where select wines age in small oak barrels of approximately 225 liters for at least nine months. The Vinothek welcomes visitors by advance telephone reservation.
