Founded in 1920 by Carl Reh as a trading company for grapes, must, and wine, the house has grown into Germany's largest export winery. Headquartered in Bingen am Rhein with operations in Leiwen and Gau-Bickelheim, the business now spans three generations of family ownership. Black Tower, the world's most successful German wine brand, ships over 15 million bottles annually to more than 35 countries. The cellar ranks among Germany's largest and most modern. The program extends to 252 hectares in Oprisor, Romania, and 25 hectares near Wellington in South Africa.
