Jens and Katja Bäder founded their estate in Wendelsheim in 2009, after studying together at Geisenheim. What began as 2.5 hectares has grown to 12 hectares farmed organically. The program centers on Riesling, with five single-vineyard expressions, Gutswein, Perlwein, and Sekt. The Rieslings have won medals at both the Riesling Champion competition by Vinum magazine and the Best-of-Riesling competition by Meininger Verlag. Burgunder rounds out the portfolio.
