About Weingut Thürkind

Weingut Thürkind was founded in 1991 as a family operation in Gröst, working approximately 12 hectares of vineyard south of Geiseltalsee in the Saale-Unstrut region. The program centers on Grauburgunder, Weißburgunder, and Blauer Zweigelt. The Grauburgunder Spätlese 2022, Weißburgunder Extra Brut 2020, and Blauer Zweigelt Barrique 2018 anchor the portfolio. A Vinothek at the winery hosts tastings and seminars. The Straußwirtschaft, open May through October, serves as a seasonal wine tavern. The winery also accommodates guests with a vacation apartment, three double rooms, and parking for motorhomes and caravans, and hosts weddings and family celebrations.
