About Weingut Thomas Mend
Weingut Thomas Mend has been family-run in Iphofen since 1890, with vineyards in Muschelkalk and Keuper soils. The winery produces wine from its own vineyards only, with Silvaner at the center of the program. The 2023 Silvaner Spätlese trocken from Iphöfer Julius-Echter-Berg is a notable wine. The winery operates Weinbergstube, serving traditional Franconian cuisine, and Bistro & Wein. Wine tastings run every Thursday from 5 to 7 PM.
