About Weingut Kaufmann-Schneider

Erden, on the Mosel. Alois Kaufmann has led the winery since 1968, mainly responsible for the vineyard work. His son Dirk took over winemaking and internal operations in 1990, and in 2006, Dirk and his wife Daniela took over the winery. The work stays in the family, every step from cultivation to marketing handled in house. The range spans white wines, red wines, Sekt, liqueurs, spirits, and grape juice. Twice, the house has won Gold at the largest international wine competition in Vienna.
