Karoline and Dorothee shape the program at Weingut Karl-Heinz Gaul in Grünstadt, where Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Blaufränkisch anchor the portfolio. The Zugpferd wines emerge from hand-harvested fruit sourced from the estate's best vineyard parcels, spontaneously fermented and mostly aged in wood. Lagenwein grapes follow the same hand-harvest and spontaneous fermentation protocol. Ortswein comes from Sausenheimer, Asselheimer, and Neuleininger vineyards. The house also produces Riesling Sekt and Pinot Brut. The Blaufränkisch placed in the Top Ten at the Berliner Lagencup in July 2024. A tasting room with outdoor seating and food service welcomes visitors.
