The family wineries in Healdsburg are family in the actual sense. Same surnames, same land, stories that go back past the point where most businesses stop keeping count.

Seghesio Family Vineyards has been at it since 1895. Same family, Zinfandel and Italian varietals, a tasting room in Healdsburg proper. Preston Farm and Winery is a different kind of family story. Lou and Susan Preston's 125-acre organic farm in Dry Creek Valley, 45 years in, where the tasting comes with bread, pickles, and fresh-pressed olive oil from their own land.

01

Alexander Valley

Alexander Valley Vineyards is four generations deep on the same property. UNTI is smaller, Italian varieties, appointment-only, intimate in a way that larger places can't manufacture. Trione Vineyards has been family-run for over 40 years, sustainably farmed across multiple Sonoma appellations.

02

Geyserville

Francis Ford Coppola's estate fits in this company but differently. Wine, film, food, and music all in one place, his full creative legacy made tangible. More monument than tasting room.

03

Dry Creek Valley

Amista Vineyards is woman-led, farming its estate organically for Rhône varieties and sparkling. Baca Wines pours Zinfandel in a tasting room built around a working art collection, which gives kids something to look at while the adults taste.
