Meyerhof in Flonheim, Rheinhessen, operates as winery, wine shop, and guest house under the direction of Alina Engel, Sebastian Engel, Bernd Hammer, Daniela Hammer, and Marvin Hammer. Alina studied viticulture and oenology at Geisenheim and gained experience in South Africa's wine industry. Sebastian completed mechanical engineering at Siemens before completing a winemaker apprenticeship at Wagner-Stempel and Weinreich. Bernd is a trained vintner and wine cultivation manager who built the current form of the business with his uncle Artur Meyer. Daniela has worked at Meyerhof for over 25 years. The program has earned the Great Wine Capital Award twice, in 2018 for wine tourism service and in 2026 for accommodation.
