About
A family farm in Ray, Michigan, in Dave's family since 1945. David and Jessica Youngblood returned to it in 2015, and by 2016 had pulled out the soybeans, corn, and Christmas trees to plant wine grapes instead. Today the estate holds 25 acres and nearly 23,000 cold-hardy vines, enough to string 26.2 miles of vineyard rows. Every bottle is 100% estate-grown. Jessica Youngblood manages the vineyard, was appointed by Governor Whitmer to the Michigan Craft Beverage Council in 2022, and has served as Board Chair for the National Grape Research Alliance. A new winery building went up in 2023. Hour Detroit Magazine has named it Best Michigan Winery multiple times.
