About
Yori Wine Cellars opened in 2017 in North East, Pennsylvania, a family operation run by Michael and Lynn Yori. The program centers on cold-hardy reds, varietals bred for the region's climate. Baco Noir and Leon Millot anchor the entry-level portfolio at $14 and $15. Corot Noir brings medium body with berry and cherry fruit, earthiness underneath, also $15. Noiret is a rustic black pepper red at $16, and Chambourcin is full bodied with soft finish at the same price. Cabernet Sauvignon, ruby and full bodied, sits at $20. The winemaker's select Cabernet Franc, complex and earthy, commands $22. The tasting room pours the full range and serves food.
