Along Route 20 on Lake Erie's shore in North East, Pennsylvania, Courtyard Winery draws from 10,000 acres of grapes surrounding the county. All fruit comes from within five miles of the winery, arriving fresh within an hour of harvest. The dry reds ferment on skins and age in oak. The dry whites cool-ferment in temperature-controlled stainless steel. Sweet wines round the portfolio. Small-batch, hand-crafted wines define the work. The Cellar Select, Cellar Reserve, and Collectors Circle wine clubs offer quarterly shipments at three, six, and twelve bottles respectively. Tasting room and vineyard tours available.
