Founded in 2008, Yakima Valley Vintners operates as the teaching winery for Yakima Valley College's Vineyard & Winery Technology Program. The student-produced wines have earned more Platinum awards than any other student wines in Washington. The program produces 400 to 700 cases annually. Tasting rooms in Yakima and Grandview offer indoor and outdoor seating, food, and are dog friendly.
