About
Wyncroft Marland sits in the glacial moraine hills of southwest Michigan, where Lake Michigan's proximity provides a unique micro-climate. Founded in 1998 as a family-owned estate, the winery operates in the style of a tiny French garagiste, producing single-vineyard designated wines from the Lake Michigan Shore and Fennville appellations. The program spans Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. The 2022 Shou blends 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 32% Cabernet Franc. The 2023 Shou Blanc blends 72% Sauvignon Blanc and 28% Semillon. The 2023 Pinot Noir comprises five different clones. The 2024 Chardonnay comes from Gabrielow Vineyard, located about six miles south and west of the estate. Food is available at the winery.
