The Chardonnay grows on AXR rootstock with Wente Clone 4 scions, non-irrigated. Pinot Noir came later, planted in 2000 and 2001, with clones 667 and 777 predominating alongside a selection of Pommard. The tasting room occupies a remodeled 1947 farmhouse. Dan Lokteff owns the property and makes the wine, a path that runs through his time as winemaker at Storrs Winery in Santa Cruz and a winemaking certificate from UC Davis.
