Winterport Winery works with locally sourced fruits to craft a portfolio of handcrafted wines. Applause, a sparkling pear wine with natural almond flavor, sits alongside Taxi Cab, a Cabernet varietal. Winter Gold arrives as a fortified apple dessert wine made in an ice wine style. Flying Dutchman, a fortified blackberry wine finished port-style, rounds the program. The winery shares tasting room space equally with Penobscot Bay Brewery and operates The Vine, an event space for private gatherings. Located twenty minutes from Bangor, Maine. The tasting room is temporarily closed.
