About Wineudesign
Wineudesign opened in Hicksville in 2010 as a place to make wine yourself. Participants crush real grapes, bottle 240 custom-labelled wines, and can commit to a barrel aging experience that unfolds over four visits across 11 months, with the wine resting for 8-10 months in a barrel room held steady at 55 to 60 degrees. Over 1,200 people have taken winemaking classes and blending workshops since the start. The program has crushed 12 million grapes, produced 800,000 bottles, and served 5,000 customers. Corporate groups of 10 to 30 or more are accommodated.

Four visits over 11 months including grape crushing during harvest, pressing fermented juice one week later, barrel aging for 8-10 months with tasting visits, and bottling day where participants take home 240 bottles.
