We Know Jack sits in Healdsburg, rooted in Rockpile. Jack Florence Sr. arrived in Dry Creek in the mid-1970s after an international engineering career, became a founding member of the Dry Creek Grower's Association, and with his son Jack Jr. planted ridge-top vineyards that helped establish the Rockpile AVA. Fruit from Jack Florence Sr. Vineyard initially went to winemaker Kent Rosenblum, whose 2003 Rockpile Road Zinfandel ranked third best wine in the world by Wine Spectator in 2005. The house now produces Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. Rockpile Riff Raff is an estate-grown single vineyard, single-block Zinfandel with a pinch of Petite Sirah from Jack Florence Sr. Vineyard. The 2022 vintage earned 97 points and Best of Class, Double Gold, while the 2021 received 94 points and Editor's Choice from Wine Enthusiast. Tasting by reservation.
