About Vitae Springs Vineyard, LLC
Vitae Springs began in 1978 with suitcase cuttings from Germany, their oldest vines still rooted in Salem soil. Randy and Alexis lead the program across a certified organic vineyard that yields Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Grüner-Veltliner, Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, and Pinot Gris. The Freund Family acquired the property in 2018. Walk-in appointments run Saturday through Sunday, 11 to 5. Weekdays by appointment. A vineyard picnic experience is also available.
Tasting Experiences
Vineyard Tasting
A guided flight of six current-release wines with complimentary snack plate in the barn overlooking the vineyard. $40 per person, waived with purchase of three bottles.
Vineyard Picnic Experience
A thoughtfully prepared picnic to enjoy among the vines or in scenic outdoor spaces, with option to pair with wine tasting or favorite bottle. $125.
