Viña Pisquera Tulahuén-Waqar

About

Tulahuen sits high in the Limarí Valley, where Viña Pisquera Tulahuén-Waqar works at 1100 meters in the Andes. The distillery's roots reach back to 1850, when Escolástica Álvarez and Rafael Camposano married and began a pisco tradition that would span five generations. In 2011, that lineage crystallized into Pisco Waqar, an ultra premium pisco with denomination of origin. Hand-harvested Moscatel de Alejandría and Moscatel Rosada del Valle del Limarí grapes move through traditional copper stills and wood. The result is transparent, natural, and aromatic at 40% alcohol, without chemical components, wood, or added sugar.
