About Via Vega Winery
Via Vega, established in 1998 in Paso Robles, farms without spray or fertilizer. Larry Gomez leads the program across eleven estate red varietals, Aglianico through Zinfandel, alongside the Offshore series drawing Petite Sirah, Pinot Noir, Montepulciano, Tempranillo, and Sauvignon Blanc from other California fields. Extended barrel aging and an in-house bottling line are part of the cellar's work. The October Series honors Dia de los Muertos. Tastings with Gomez run about an hour and require advance reservation.
