Ubl-Doschek

Ubl-Doschek works from Kritzendorf in the Wagram, where the house name Kirschleiten has held for over a hundred years. All grapes are harvested by hand. The program spans Gelber Muskateller, Riesling, Traminer, Blauer Zweigelt, Blauburger, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Gelber Muskateller Frizzante and Riesling Sekt Austria Reserve g.U. anchor the portfolio, the latter aged at least 36 months on the lees, hand-riddled and disgorged using traditional bottle fermentation. Sandrose Orangewine emerges from hand-selected Traminer grapes fermented four weeks on the skins. Pure Naturalwine blends Riesling and Gelber Muskateller. The reds include Blauer Zweigelt Alte Rebe aged in small wood, Blauburger Reserve aged in small oak barrel, and Cabernet Sauvignon Große Reserve aged in small oak barrel. The farm shop opens Tuesday to Sunday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
