About Troutman Vineyards
Troutman Vineyards began in Wooster in 1998, with Andy Troutman at the helm. The first crop came in Fall 2000. That summer, three wines from the debut vintage launched. The original winery occupied a renovated chicken coop. A tasting room opened in June 2001 and operated for 25 years before closing permanently on December 28, 2025. Wine production now continues at the Norton location, where bottles are available at The Winery at Wolf Creek.
