About Thunder Ridge Vineyards, LLC
Joe Zill spent over thirty years at UPS before stepping into winemaking full-time. He'd been making wine, cider and mead at home for more than fifteen years when he and Amy established Thunder Ridge Vineyards in March 2015 on a 6.5 acre property in Heidelberg Township, between Hanover and Spring Grove. The program works with estate-grown grapes and fruits, offering sweet, semi-sweet and dry wines. The property also offers brick oven pizzas and hard cider alongside wine slushies.
