About
Thomas Windholz founded this operation in 2013 across two vineyard sites in Niederösterreich and Burgenland, separated by two kilometers. Deutsche Sätze in Bruck an der Leitha grows Veltliner, Gemischter Satz, and Zweigelt. Ungerberg in Bruckneudorf splits its south-facing slope between Zweigelt, Merlot, and Chardonnay, while the north-facing exposure holds Veltliner and Muskateller. The 2.3 hectares have been biocertified since 2021. Windholz works the vineyards alongside his mother Maria, wife Vera, and son Karli, producing eleven wines from Carnuntum and Burgenland.
