Thomas Hareter

About

Thomas and Claudia Hareter tend vineyards in Weiden am See, on the shores of Neusiedler See, as the fourth generation in their family line. The work follows biodynamic Demeter principles. Hand harvesting and spontaneous fermentation support the cellar's low-intervention approach, yielding natural wines with nothing added beyond the grape itself. The program moves across four lines, Classics, Lovely Creatures, Roots, and Good Stories, with the Classics range histamine-tested. Roughly eighty percent of the portfolio travels beyond Austria's borders.
