THEO Vineyard

About

Sam McCullough planted the first vines in Jamesport in 1993, beginning what would become THEO Vineyard in Peconic. Cabernet Franc followed in 2000, then Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Sauvignon in 2001. The program rounds out with Chardonnay and Merlot across the North Fork's sandy, glacial soils and maritime climate. In 2025, Chris Ariens acquired the vineyard, naming it for his great-great-grandfather Theodore. McCullough remains as consultant.
