About Terre de Chardons

Terre de Chardons began in Bellegarde in 1983, though vines didn't go into the ground until 1999. Jérôme Chardon tends nine hectares across Vin de France, AOP Costières de Nîmes, and AOP Clairette de Bellegarde. The work is biodynamic, certified Demeter since the first harvest in 2002. Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, and Clairette Blanche form the portfolio. The J'M cuvée is drawn from 1.5 hectares of Clairette Blanche.
