Tement

About

Manfred Tement shapes the program in Südsteiermark, where the cellar works across eight varietals. Sauvignon Blanc anchors the portfolio, from KALK & KREIDE to the single-vineyard expressions Ried Grassnitzberg Riff and Ried Zieregg XT. The latter aged for over 78 months in barrel. Ried Grassnitzberg Riff itself carries family history, planted by Josef Tement in the 1950s and held in the family ever since. The work follows organic principles and holds Demeter certification as of 2022. Beyond the estate, Tement operates Winzarei as a hospitality space and manages Domaine Ciringa across the border in Slovenia.
