About Tatomer Wines
Tatomer Wines in Lompoc works across Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, and Pinot Noir, drawing from vineyards across the Central Coast. The Riesling program spans multiple sites and expressions. Kick-on Ranch, near Vandenberg Air Force Base in western Los Alamos, anchors the portfolio. Vines there were grafted from Pinot Noir to Riesling Clone 239. Vandenberg Riesling blends multiple pickings across Santa Barbara County sites, majority from Kick-on Ranch. Steinhügel sources La Estancia Vineyard with two German clones. Oliver's comes from the Talley family holdings. Lafond draws from vines planted in 1972 by Pierre Lafond. Sisquoc Riesling comes from Rancho Sisquoc, a 38,000-acre property with vines 40 years of age. Paragon Grüner Veltliner grows on a west-facing slope a couple miles inland from the Pacific Ocean, sustainably farmed. Meeresboden Grüner Veltliner, its name translating to Ocean Soil, rounds out the portfolio. A tasting room is available.
